World of Warcraft Item Upgrades Item upgrades are a way to increase the stats of an item. Based on the type of upgrade you choose, it may increase an item's Rarity or Mark Level and boost additional stats. Affixes are another way to alter the stats of an item. These are special stat boosts that can be added to an item by the player and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. try these guys can do things like give the item extra damage, or add a unique ability to the item (such as reviving the dead or cutting down the duration of cooldowns) or make the item unique by giving an exclusive name to the item. Currently, all affixes can be rerolled by selecting them from the upgrade window and pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circling arrows. Luck can also boost the likelihood of upgrading items at the Blacksmith. This is not to be confused with the Blacksmith's overall chance of upgrading that increases with each level of the item and can be further increased by using an anti-material such as a Scroll of Strength or a Jewel of Blessing. Weapons, shields, and armor can be made or spawn by using the Luck property, with the default value of 40. These items can then be upgraded with golden ingots, spined leather, or oak boards (depending on the item's material type) to grant a further +40 Luck, or to increase the existing Luck of the item up to 140. Certain items, such as the weapon with Hollow-infused components can also be crafted to increase the damage of any ability that causes damage by five percent. These items can be purchased in the shop or made using the correct ingredients. Item Failure Not all upgrades work. Cash shop items can be used to boost the chance of success of an upgrade or to stop players from losing their item in the event that it does not work. The success rate of an upgrade is shown in the Honing UI. The percentage represents the chance of successfully upgrading the item and it can be increased by adding Additional Materials or Special Materials. There are limits to the extent to which the success rates can be improved and the chance of a failed upgrade cannot exceed 100%.. The luck of an item can influence the success of an upgrade. Every item has an initial success rate of 25%, and each item with Luck increases the chance of success by an additional 5%. It is important to note that upgrade items are rendered above the items in the inventory therefore enchantment glints and other effects could be obstructed by the overlays. If you wish to disable the upgrade overlays, the config option decoration.renderUpgradeOverlays can be set to False in the Item Upgrader CORE client config.
